Accepting these terms
By using GableRoof.co.uk, submitting a quote request, applying for a directory listing, or buying advertising, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The quote matching service
GableRoof.co.uk is a free introduction service for homeowners. When you submit a quote request, we pass your details to a small number of roofers in our network who cover your area. We do not guarantee:
- That any roofer will contact you within a set amount of time
- The price, availability or quality of work offered by any roofer
- That we will find a match for every postcode or every project type
Any contract for roofing work is strictly between you and the roofer you choose. GableRoof.co.uk is not a party to that agreement.
Roofer directory listings
Roofers applying for a listing on our list your business page must give accurate business, insurance and certification information, and keep it up to date. We can decline or remove a listing at our own discretion, including for wrong information or unresolved customer complaints.
Featured listings, described on our advertise page, only get a better position on the page. Paid status is never a substitute for our checks, and does not guarantee any number of homeowner leads.
Sponsored content
Where a business pays for a sponsored guide, spotlight or placement, we will always label it “Sponsored” so it is easy to tell apart from independent editorial content. Sponsors do not control our cost data, comparisons or guide recommendations.
Site content and guides
Our guides, cost estimates and calculators, including the one on our cost calculator page, are for general information only. They are not a substitute for a written quote or professional structural advice. Prices mentioned reflect general UK market ranges at the time of writing and can change by region, property and supplier.
Liability
As far as the law allows, GableRoof.co.uk is not liable for losses that come from relying on our guide content, from the actions of any roofer you are matched with, or from third party websites linked from this site.
Governing law
These terms follow the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will go through the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, to reflect changes to our service or to the law. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always show the latest version.
